Creating a Custom Request Type
This video is going to look into what employee requests are and how do you use them.
Employee requests allow staff to submit changes to their timesheets that must be approved by an administrator, as well as general items such as allowances (e.g. mileage) to be linked to their account.
You can add your own custom request types in the Request Types section of the web portal under Company > Request Types. TimeKeeper provides some default types to get you started.
Hereβs a quick overview of the available request actions:
Add Time Entry β request to add a new start and end time for a specific date.
Modify Clock In β request to change an existing clock-in time.
Modify Clock Out β request to change an existing clock-out time.
Time Addition β request to add a fixed number of extra hours on a given date.
Allowance β request to record a monetary expense on a certain date (commonly used for mileage and other expenses).
